To Future Clientele of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I, Cheryl Unger am greatly appreciative of the way everything was handled for the double funeral of my twin sister, Shirley O'Neal DeMore and my father, Robert L. O'Neal who were both shot on June 16, 2006. Steve Jackson and the whole staff of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services handled everything with the outmost respect and professionalism. They not only went over the whole business aspect of things that needed done, but they talked to us and honored our wishes with empathy and understanding for our feelings. Although they had never had a double funeral before, I feel the ceremony was very beautiful and moving. In this day and age you get all to many places of business that have a set format and they will not bend the format to accommodate the feelings of their clientele and families. Respectfully,
Steve & Connie Sheorn
Steve, On behalf of my family, I'd like to thank you - even though belatedly- for the services you provided after Daddy's death. The guidance you gave us was priceless during the last days of his life and I thank you sincerely for all you did. During the end of a person's life, there are so many things to attend to-not to mention the emotions that accompany such a loss. Having you to "walk us through" the necessary steps certainly made things less painful. Thank you, Steve...... for everything.

Just a note of thanks to you all for the nice service that you gave my son, Donald Ferguson last Saturday the 14th at Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Abbeville. It was a sad time for me losing my only son and him being so young. He really went thru a lot. You did a good job on him for I know it was hard to do it for he had been sick so long. You all were so patient and understanding the day of the funeral. It was so cold and windy that day. I appreciate everything you all did. Thank you again.

Steve, Our family turned to Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services for help when we lost our beloved husband and father. Their experienced personnel carried out to perfection all of our wishes for the service for Alan. At this most difficult time in life it is such a comfort to be able to rely on caring, compassionate people who seem like family.

Two months ago yesterday, my "Mama" went to live with the lord.....I nor my brothers and sister knew what was to come next, then we met with Steve Jackson. What a Godsend....He never pressured or pointed us in the wrong direction. He was only there to fulfill my "Mama's" wishes and they were...even down to riding around the Abbeville downtown square one last time. That may have seemed silly to most, but it was important to her and Steve fulfilled that last wish...The service was wonderful and very dignified. Steve and Carol are still caring about our family. The other day, I received a card that they had given a gift to the angle tree at their church in memory of her...what a thoughtful gesture. If you are ever in need of someone to guide you, not sell you, then Chandler-Jackson is the right place for you and your loved ones to be...The insight that Steve has is a Godsend...In fact I know that God sent him to us to help through the most difficult time we have ever experienced. God Bless you Steve and Carol,
