Steve Jackson is a 1976 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA. He has over 31 years of funeral directing experience. He is a Licensed Funeral Director and embalmer in the state of South Carolina. He is a member of the Piedmont Tech. College Advisory Board of Mortuary Science. He is a member of the Abbeville Rotary Club where he is a past President and is a Paul Harris fellow. He is a member of the Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, as is his wife. He is very active in youth activities and is past President of the Abbeville Youth Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of First Citizens Bank of Abbeville. He is a Mason and member of the Clinton Lodge #3 AFM, a Shriner and member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple. He and his wife Carol are very active members of Main St. United Methodist Church. He is married to the former Carol Ann Sheorn and they have 3 children, Brad, Kelly, and Brooks; three grandsons, Bryce, Tait and Wyatt and three grand daughters, Sydney, Brantlee, and Callie.

 Thomas D. Brown is a 2012 graduate of Piedmont Technical College, South Carolina Center for Funeral Service Education, he has been a licensed Funeral Director Embalmer for over 10 years, Thomas is married to Angela Brock Brown and both are active members of Austin Road Baptist Church. They have two daughters, Kayla Williams and Victoria Brown, four grandchildren, Ciara, Camren, Jaxson, and Elizabeth Grace. They enjoy spending time with their family, camping, and helping with their church. Thomas is committed to his community and helping families honor their loved ones.

Ashley is originally from Chesterfield County. She and her husband, Brian, reside in Greenwood. She sets high standards in her work ethics when performing all job tasks. Her 15 years of funeral home experience has gained her valuable knowledge in how to better assist & serve families in pre-need planning, funerals & cremations. Perhaps one of her greatest strengths is her compassion to help others & to give of herself to ensure every family is served with respect & dignity.

Bobby grew up in the Nation Community and has been with the funeral home since it opened. He retired from Michelin Tire Corporation and Abbeville County School District. Bobby was married to the late Sandra Anne Fleming McMahan and they have three children, Lori Garner, Caleb McMahan and Jessi Moore. He is an active member of Iva First Baptist Church.

Jerry is married to Omegia Taylor Ray. He retired from Adam’s Building Supplies with over 30 years of service. Jerry and Omegia have one daughter, Mandy, who is married to Dustin Arrowood. They are the proud grandparents of Marissa. Jerry has been a resident of Abbeville since 1976 and he and his family are very active members of Abbeville Congregational Holiness Church.

Jonathan is a resident of Abbeville County and is also employed with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his nephews Bryce and Bristol, hanging out with friends, going to football games “Go Tigers”.  Jonathan is the owner of Jonny’s Wedding Consultant where he directs, and coordinates weddings and has also been involved with pageants for over 30 years. He attends Lighthouse Baptist Church to where he is very strong in his faith.  His favorite bible verse is Romans 8:28 “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose.”

Debra was born and raised in Abbeville County. Formerly Debra Burdette, she is the mother of two children, Allison Waters Thomason and Christopher Waters. She has seven grandchildren who are the center of her heart. Debra worked for Probation, Parole and Pardon Services in Anderson for many years until she decided to go to work for the Postal Service. She retired from the Postal Service after 20 years of service and lived in Oklahoma for 13 years where she raised Quarter horses. After retirement she returned to Abbeville to be closer to family. She attends Iva First Baptist Church.

Lura Jean Chandler, wife of the late Funeral Director, Harry W, Chandler, has worked continuously in the funeral business for over 50 years. First with her husband and brother-in-law in their ownership of a funeral business and later in association with Steve Jackson in the operation of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. Her desire has been to show compassion and help for those who are undergoing the most stressful times in their lives- the loss of loved ones.

Krista grew up in Calhoun Falls and is the daughter of John David and Shirley Bentley Fleming and the late Linda Waters Fleming. She is a graduate of CFHS and Piedmont Technical College. She is employed full time at Self Regional Health Care as a Radiologic Technologist. She is married to Ken Sammons and they have one daughter Lindsey Sammons Wilson and her husband Thomas Wayne Wilson.She attends Main Street United Methodist Church in Abbeville, a member of the Agnes Rodgers Circle. She enjoys being with family and friends and playing Bunko with the Abbeville Bunko Babes.

Pat is the former Patricia Scott of Greenwood. She is married to the Rev. R. Marion Argo and resides in Abbeville where she serves as organist of the Abbeville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pat retired from School District 60 after 28 years of service.
