William ''Glen'' Ferguson, Jr., 85, resident of 3755 Hwy 28 North, widower of Frances Sutherland Ferguson died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late William Glen Sr. and Lillian Irene Campbell Ferguson.
He was a retired Disabled veteran of World War II and a watchman with Bloomsburg Mills. He was also a member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Carolyn Crook and her husband Barry of Abbeville, SC; one stepson, Rev. James Long of Abbeville, SC; three stepdaughters, Barbara Ann Brown of Greenwood, SC, Sarah Arnold of Abbeville, SC, Nancy Tollison of Abbeville, SC; one sister, Irene Ferguson of Abbeville, SC; one granddaughter, April Sutton and her husband Jerry of Abbeville, SC; 3 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Devin and Sydney Sutton.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 2, 2004 at 2:00PM from Little Mountain Presbyterian Church with the Rev.'s John Parks and James Long officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military rites.
The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family received friends from 6:00 until 8:00PM Thursday evening. The family is at the home, 3755 Hwy 28, Abbeville, SC.
