Virginia Marguerite Logan

Virginia M Logan passed away peacefully Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont.

Born August 12, 1925 in Fayetteville, NC. She was the last surviving child of the late John Wesley and Edie Ann Jackson Strickland. Virginia was the youngest of fifteen children.

She was married to the late John L Logan for 63 years until his death three and a half years ago.

Virginia and her husband traveled extensively throughout his military career, living in Japan and Germany.

Virginia and her husband moved to Abbeville in 1978.

Survivors include her five loving daughters; Karen(George, Jr.) Bell, Donna Logan, Rosemary Logan (Tommy) Crockett of Abbeville, Deborah (John) White of McLean, VA, and Sandra Logan (Michael) Burr of Williamsburg, VA., four wonderful son-in-laws, four adoring grandchildren, and several beautiful great-grand children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday Feb. 17, 2017 at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bob Sayer officiating. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home 49 Hidden River Lane Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 until 11:45 at the church prior to services.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont 408 West Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
