Thomas Milton Seawright

Thomas 'Milton' Seawright, 79, resident of 210 Bell Rd. Abbeville, SC husband of Ruby Wilson Seawright died Saturday Jan. 21, 2006 at the Hospice House of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late George Gary, Sr. and Bessie Ferguson Seawright.

He was retired from the maintenance dept. of the South Carolina Highway Dept. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marine Corps. He was also a member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church where he was also a former deacon of the church.

survivors are: his wife Ruby Wilson Seawright of the home, 3 daughters Darlene Creswell of Abbeville, SC, Carol Lambrose of Honea Path, SC, Lynn Mabrey of Abbeville, SC, 1 brother George Gary Seawright, Jr. of Abbeville, SC, 2 sisters Juanita Ashley Clamp of Anderson, SC and Frances McGaha of Donalds, SC, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday Jan. 24, 2006 at 2:00 PM from Little Mountian Presbyterain Church with the Rev. John Parks and Rev. James Long officiating. The burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will recieve friends from 6:00 until 8: PM Monday evening. The family is at the home of his daughter Mrs. Darlene Creswell 11 Stevenson Rd. Abbeville, SC.
