Tessie Lee Paxton Trexler

Tessie Lee Paxton Trexler, 91, resident of 538 Hwy. 72 wife of Herman Sidney Trexler passed away Tuesday Nov. 6, 2012 at Hospice of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Cabarrus Co., NC she was a daughter of the late Shell R. Paxton and May Belle Fink Paxton.

She was a retired homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 71 years, Herman Sidney Trexler of the home; 2 sons, Mike Trexler and his wife Vickie of Abbeville, SC and Jerry Trexler and his wife Jackie of Ellijay, GA; 1 brother, Ray Paxton and his wife Patsy of Salisbury, NC; 5 grandchildren, Jeff (Abby) Trexler, Mitchell (Tina) Trexler, Austin Douglas, Terri Trexler and Wanda Potter; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Nov. 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. John Keith officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
