Susan Danae Decker

Susan Danae Decker, 67, resident of Harkness Lane, entered into rest Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born on October 25, 1957 in Indiana to the late Howard Ralph and Ruth Maxine McGeath Bennett. Susan was a high school graduate and worked in retail for many years.

Surviving are her children, Howard F. Slentz (Katie) of Calhoun Falls, Jamie L. Slentz (Jena) of Hartford City, IN, and Evonda S. Fain (John Gary) of Donalds; her brothers, Steve Bennett and Mike Bennett; her grandchildren, Colin Slentz, Evan Slentz, Lexi Slentz, Caylee Slentz, Zack Bearden, Madison Bearden, and Payton Jennings; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 19th at 5:00 PM from the Chandler Chapel of Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the hour of service.
