Samuel "Sam" Lochridge McNeill

Samuel 'Sam' Lochridge McNeill, Sr., 78, resident of 1201 N. Main St. husband of Lucille Epps McNeill died Sunday Sept. 25, 2005 at his home.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late Joseph Donald, Sr. and Willie G. Riley McNeill.

He was a United States World War II Navy veteran and a retired employee of the Little River Electric Coop.

survivors are: Wife: Lucille Epps McNeill of the home, 1 daughter Shirley Walker of Laurens, SC, 3 sons Samuel L. McNeill, Jr., Willian Tracy McNeill and Donald Lee McNeill all of Abbeville, SC., 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Donald McNeill, Jr.

Memorials services will be conducted Wednesday Sept. 28, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with Mr. Bobby Fisher officiating.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will recieve friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM Tuesday evening. The family is at the home 1201 N. Main St. Abbeville, SC.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
