Ruth Morris Wilson

Ruth Morris Wilson, 93, resident of Magnolia Manor in Greenwood, formerly of Watts Community, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Magnolia Manor.

Born in Colbert, Ga., she was a homemaker and a member of Warrenton Presbyterian Church.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was the widow of Ernest Wilson and the daughter of the late James C. and Emma Ophelia Meadows Morris.

Services are at 4 p.m. Monday at Warrenton Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Laurin Young; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, and will be placed in the church at 3 p.m. Monday.

The family is at the home of Richard A. Simpson, 2102 Old Calhoun Falls Road, Abbeville.

The family suggests memorials be made to Warrenton Presbyterian Church, 191 Watts Road, Abbeville, S.C. 29620.
