Rosa Anna Campbell Gable

Rosa Anna Campbell Gable, 79, resident of 125 Hampton St. widow of Bob L. Gable passed away Tuesday Aug. 30, 2011 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Bill Campbell and Cara Ashley Campbell.

Rosa Anna was a retired textile employee with the Torrington Co. after 15 years of service. She was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church. Rosa Anna will be remembered for her kind and caring manner and will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include 1 daughter Brenda Grier and her husband John of Belton, SC; 1 son Ronnie Gable and his wife Mary of Honea Path, SC; 2 sisters Linda Phillips and her husband William of Honea Path, SC and Jean Smith of Honea Path, SC; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her sister in law Leila Campbell Strawhorn of Abbeville, SC.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Gable Morris and a brother Billy Joe Campbell.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Sept. 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev's Troy Cain and Wayne Bowie officiating. The burial will follow in Gardens of Memories Cemetery in Belton, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Thursday morning in Southside Baptist Church Social Building prior to services. The family is at the home of Dr. & Mrs. John Grier 911 Austin Rd. Belton, SC 29627.
