Robert "Rob" Allen Roth, III

Robert "Rob" Allen Roth III, 42, resident of 1102 N. Main St. formerly of 215 Ingleside Way Greenville, SC passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the home of his mother Betty Teachey with his loving family by his side.

Born in Melbourne, FL, he was the son of Robert Allen Roth, Jr. and Betty Wooten Teachey.

Rob attended the University of South Carolina and was the former Bar Manager at the Augusta Grill in Greenville, SC and also worked with Schneider Electric in Greenville. Rob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and watching Gamecock football. He will be sorely missed by his loving family and many friends.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Wooten Teachey of Abbeville, SC; sister, Anna Katherine Fulton and her husband, Steve of Madison, MS; niece, Ava Grace Powell and nephew, Holten Cruz Powell; Maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Wooten Barber of Abbeville, SC; stepfather, L. Glenn Teachey of Abbeville, SC; father, Robert Allen Roth, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Jacksonville Beach, FL; Andrew M. Myers and a special friend, Melanie Jennings.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Robert Roth and grandfather, Eddie R. Wooten.

A Celebration of Rob's life will be conducted at Main St. United Methodist Church on Friday September 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. The family is at the home of his mother Betty Teachey 1102 N. Main St.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM in the Greene Center at Main St. UMC on Friday afternoon prior to services in the church.
