Robert "Don" Davis

Robert “Don” Donald Davis, 79, resident of 354 Hall Rd. husband of Clara Davis passed away Wednesday Aug. 30, 2023 at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, SC.

He was the son of the late Robert L. Davis and Myrtle Lucille McAlister Davis.

Don was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the SC Dept. of Transportation.

Survivors include: His wife Clara Thomasson Davis; a son and two daughters; a sister Evelyn Hughes; twelve grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Sept. 2, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Allen officiating. A private family burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to services.
