Ralph Clinton Sentell, 84, of 243 Noble Drive died Friday, July 12, 2002, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pelzer, he was a retired loom technician with Milliken Textiles. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday school class. He was also a Mason and a member of the Clinton Lodge No. 3 AFM.
Surviving are widow, Anna Finley Sentell of the home; brother, Alvin Sentell of Abbeville; and sisters, Coreen McMillian of Greenville and Velma Pressley of Williamston.
He was the son of the late Laffeyette and Lisa Hollingsworth Sentell.
Services are at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church by the Rev. Earl Hartley; burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Masonic rites. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday before the services. The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, Abbeville, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
