Nell Dermody Tucker

Nell Dermody Tucker, 91, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home formerly of 203 Sunset Drive widow of Marion Tucker passed away Friday Aug. 10, 2018 at the nursing home.
Born July 9, 1927 in Daytona Beach, FL she was a daughter of the late William and Louise Dermody.
Nell was a retired bank teller with the old Bank of Abbeville with over 20 years of service. She was a member of Abbeville First Baptist Church where she was active in the Amy Long Sunday School Class , when her health allowed.
Survivors include: her son David Tucker (Jane) of Anderson, SC and a daughter Donna T. Southard of Abbeville, SC; seven grandchildren Lindsey Jones (Cory) of Holden Beach, NC, Greg Tucker (Buffy) of Moore, SC, Susie Brewer (Jason) of Nashville, TN, Jada Brown (Travis) of Anderson, SC, Brad Burdette (Mellisa) of Townville, SC, Kelly Miller (Rusty) of Jefferson, SC and Kathy Bauman (Billy) of Abbeville, SC; a daughter-in-law Phyllis Tucker of Abbeville, SC; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Tommy Tucker and sisters Jo O'Brien and Catherine Tahey.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday Aug. 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Abbeville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Moses Aleman officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will be at their respective homes.
The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10: until 11:00 AM in the church prior to services.
