Miriam Seawright Hagan, 92, of 955 Lindsey Cemetery Road died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at The Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Abbeville, she was the widow of Edward Livingston Hagan and the daughter of the late Daniel Holloway and Maggie Austin Seawright. She was a graduate of Erskine College, where she earned a B.A. degree in Education. She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught many years in the Antreville and Level Land Communities. She was a member of Due ARP Church.
Surviving are sons, Edward L. Hagan Jr. of Due West and Dan C. Hagan of Due West; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, Abbeville, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The family is at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Hagan Jr., 945 Lindsey Cemetery Road, Due West.
