Mary Louise Burnette Suber

Mary Louise Burnette Suber, 85, resident of 348 Suber Rd. Nation Community widow of Alroy Suber passed away Sept. 11, 2016 at her home.

Born Oct. 27, 1930 in Columbus, NC she was a daughter of the late E.S. Burnette and Pearl Tallent Burnette.

Mary worked in textiles for a few years with Bloomsburg Mills. She was a retired homemaker having raised three sons. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her kind and caring nature.

Survivors include three sons Steve Suber (Teresa) of Simpsonville, SC, Mike Suber (Sylvia), and David Suber ( Gina) both of Abbeville, SC; three sisters Myrtle Chapman of Abbeville, SC, Ann Ruff of Charleston, SC and Grace Gilbert of Ashville, NC; two brothers Bill Burnette of Columbus, NC and Dean Burnette of St. Augustine, FL; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers James and Robert Burnette.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Greer officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 348 Suber Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to services in the church social hall at Midway Baptist Church.
