Mary Simpson Hill

Mary Simpson Hill, 91, resident of 2578 Flat Rock Rd., Nation Community, widow of Frank Hill, died Monday, November 15, 2004 at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Matthew A. and Emma Cann Simpson. She was a retired textile employee with Milliken Mills. She was a faithful member of Bells United Methodist Church. She also taught music for many years.

Survivors are son-in-law, Lang McKee and wife Tommie of Abbeville, SC; 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Hill; and a daughter, Miriam McKee. She was preceded in death by 9 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 3:00PM from Bells United Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Buchanan officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 1:00PM Wednesday afternoon where the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00PM prior to service.

The family is at the home 2578 Flat Rock Rd., Abbeville, SC.
