Mary Jane Cain

Mary Jane Shaw Cain, 89, resident of 821 North Anderson St. widow of Raymond Walter Cain passed away Wednesday Nov. 30, 2016 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Anderson, SC she was a daughter of the late Columbus Washington Shaw and Rosaliegh Crocker Shaw.

Mary was a retired textile weaver with J.P. Stevens Company. She was also a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters Patricia Pelfrey (Rex) and Joyce Thomasson (Ron) both of Abbeville, SC; two sons Larry Cain (Marcia) of Calhoun Falls, SC and Donald Cain (Pam) of Greenwood, SC; one sister Grace Finley of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday Dec. 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike McMinn officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family is at 821 North Anderson St. Calhoun Falls, SC.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the services.
