Mary Greene Bostic

Mary Greene Bostic, 98, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home formerly of 634 Noble Dr. widow of Jessie T. Bostic passed away Thursday April 23, 2009 at the nursing home.

Born in Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late John H. Kelly and Annie Reid Kelly. She was twice married first to the late W. Winslow Greene.

She was a retired textile employee with Greenwood Mills. She was also a member of Abbeville First Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.

Survivors include 1 daughter Annie Ruth Ward of Abbeville, SC; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday April 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Long Cane Cemetery with the Rev. Reiny Koschel officiating. Friends may call at the home of her daughter Annie Ruth Ward 34 Woodview Apts. Abbeville, SC.

Mrs. Bostic is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
