Mark Duane McDonald

Mark Duane McDonald, 68, resident of Ellis Ave. Apartments passed away Aug. 30, 2023, at his home.

Born in Abbeville, SC he was a son of the late Mark Leon McDonald and Grace Kirby Mundy.

Mark was a retired long haul truck driver.

Survivors include: two daughters Christina Blount (Chris) of Indian Trail, NC and Trisha McDonald of Palm Springs, CA; a sister Karen Smith (Roy) of Abbeville, SC; a brother Stanley Hartley (Janice) of Greenwood, SC; his longtime love Chris McDonald of Abbeville, SC; three grandchildren Elijah Blount, Lynnsey Arant, and Steven Arant.

He was preceded in death by a brother John Hartley

A graveside Celebration of Mark’s life will be conducted Friday Sept. 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the grave following services.
