Marguerite Finley Cartledge, 93, of 1302 N. Main St. died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Carlisle Nursing Center in Due West.
Born in Liberty, she was a homemaker and a member of Abbeville First Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Jean C. Giles of Abbeville; son, Richard Cartledge of Abbeville; sisters, Eva Finley Young of Clemson and Virginia Finley Babb of Greenville; brother, Robert Finley of Birmingham, Ala.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of George B. Cartledge and the daughter of the late Luther James and Eva Mae Lindsey Finley.
Services are at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Abbeville First Baptist Church by the Revs. Reiny Koschel and Tommy Cartledge; burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the social hall of the church.
The family is at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cartledge, 290 Noble Drive, Abbeville.
