Margaret Hodges Jennings

Margaret Elizabeth Hodges Jennings, 85, resident of 151 Moss Ave. widow of Edwin Guy Jennings passed away Wednesday Dec. 5, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Greenwood, SC she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Hodges and Amanda McKinney Hodges.

Margaret retired from Self Regional Medical Center as a Nurses Aid with over 27 years of service. She was a faithful and loyal member of Bordeaux United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her kind and loving way and will be missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include 2 sons Eddie Jennings of Jesup, Georgia and Jerry Jennings of McCormick, SC; 1 daughter Barbara Jean Elgin of Ninety Six, SC; 1 brother Frank Hodges of Hodges, SC; 1 sister Annie Mae Myers of Calhoun Falls, SC; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Dec. 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Bordeaux United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Dalton officiating. The burial will in the church cemetery. The family is at their respective homes.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
