Lou Ellen Creswell Gable

Lou Ellen Gable, 72, resident of 3578 Hwy. 28 North, widow of Edwin T. Gable died Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Vivian E. ''Hook'' and Lois Russun Creswell.

She was a retired textile employee with Bloomsburg Mills. She was currently a volunteer assistant at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Elaine Jenkins and her husband, Matt of Anderson, SC and Montee Gary and her husband, Spencer of Abbeville, SC; 2 granddaughters, Britany Gary and Ashley Jenkins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ellis.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 2:00PM from Shiloh United Methodist Church. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville, SC.

The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30PM Friday evening. The family is at the home, 3578 Hwy. 28, Abbeville, SC.
