Lillian Little Giles, 89, of 885 Brownlee Road, Nation Community, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, at The Hospice House, Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson.
Born in Cornelious, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John Andrew and Edna Wiggins Little. She was the widow of Thomas Giles Sr. She was a retired seamstress with the Scott Company and was an active member of Bells United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Barbara Jean Fisher of Abbeville; sons, Thomas Giles Jr. and James E. Giles, both of Abbeville, and Franklin Gray Giles of Honea Path; sisters, Ruth Gee and Elizabeth Anderson, both of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Services are at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bells United Methodist Church by the Rev. Fred Buchanan; burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, Abbeville.
The family will be at the home.
