Leonard Adams Russum, 75, of 213 Marshall Avenue died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a retired supervisor with Milliken Textiles with over 50 years of service. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, where he was also the Sunday school teacher for the men's Bible class.
Surviving are widow, Giles Russum of the home; daughters, Rhonda R. Callaway of Elberton, Ga. and Shirley Hudson of Ware Shoals; son, Wayne Patterson of Abbeville; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Rev. W.J. and Lillie Scott Russum. He was the last surviving member of his family.
Services are at 3 p.m. Friday at Westside Baptist Church by the Revs. James Long and Bill Ellison; burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
