Lenora Beauford Drennan

Lenora Beauford Drennan, 87, resident of Magnolia Manor, formerly of 106 Morningside Drive, died Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Magnolia Manor, Greenwood.

Born in Troy, she was a retired textile employee with Abbeville Mills and was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Sara D. White of Columbia and Jackie D. Holbert of Abbeville; sister, Elizabeth Bessinger of Abbeville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Arthur B. Drenan and the daughter of the late Lemuel O. and Mattie Horne Beauford. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin D. White.

Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Leon Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends after the graveside services Tuesday afternoon at the cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 300 North Main St., Abbeville, S.C. 29620.

Ramey Funeral Home of Saluda is in charge of arrangements.
