Laura "Ruth" Ruth Eakin Hall

Laura "Ruth" Eakin Hall, 90, of Abbeville Nursing Home died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at the nursing home.

Born in Williamston, she was a homemaker and a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church.

Surviving are Gina Ruth Hagen Stone, a dear namesake whom she claimed as her own.

She was the widow of Allen D. Hall and the daughter of the late Burnett and Eugenia Davenport Eakin.

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home by the Rev. Reiny Koschel; burial will be in Long Cane Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday before the services.

Memorials may be made to the Abbeville First Baptist Church Building Fund, 111 Ellis Ave., Abbeville, S.C. 29620.

The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Stone, 34 S.C. 20, Abbeville.
