Larry Dale Medlin

Larry Dale Medlin, 60, passed away Monday Nov. 10, 2008 at his home.

Born in Anderson, SC he was the son of the late Domer and Ophelia Tiller Medlin.

Larry was a self employed painter and of the Baptist faith. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be missed by his many friends.

Survivors include 2 daughters Brigitte Terry Wallace and he her husband Jesse of Greenwood, SC and Tracy Land and her husband Gene of Abbeville, SC; 3 sisters Lorene Lawton of Abbeville, SC, Brenda McDuffie of Macon, Georgia and Linda Turnage of Macon, Georgia; 1 brother Roger Medlin of Abbeville, SC; 4 grandchildren Jesse Wallace, Jr., Christy Wallace, Codey Land and Austin Wallace; a special friend Mary Medlin of Greenwood, SC.

He was preceded in death by a brother Wayne Medlin.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Nov. 13, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Land, Sr. officiating. The burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 7:00 PM. The family is at the home of his daughter Mr. & Mrs. Gene Land 297 Brookside Drive Abbeville, SC.
