June Haralson Fleming

June Haralson Fleming, 82, resident of 678 Wall St., Iva, widow of Joseph "Joe" Branyon Fleming passed away Friday March 22, 2013 at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Early Haralson and Jessie Lee Patterson Haralson.

June was a retired textile employee having worked for Bloomsburg Mills and was a faithful member of First Creek Baptist Church. Upon retirement she worked a number of years at Saxon's By-Pass Grocery. She was a devoted member of The Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was a member of the John Francis Gray Order of the Eastern Star Chapter # 219.

Survivors include 2 sons Joseph Stephen Fleming and his wife Tracy of Abbeville, SC and Danny Fleming of the home; 2 daughters Jane Fleming Huckabaa and her husband Billy of Antreville, SC and Jean Fleming of the home; 3 grandchildren Russell Stephen Fleming, Suzanne Lowe and Joe Byrum; 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Charles Haralson.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM in First Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Murdock officiating. The burial will follow in Asaville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home 678 Wall St. Iva (Antreville), SC.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
