Joseph "Joe" Branyon Fleming

Joseph 'Joe' Branyon Fleming, 77, resident of 678 Wall St. husband of June Haralson Fleming passed away Wednesday Feb. 3, 2010 at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late Willie Eugene Fleming and Allie Mae Phillips Fleming.

He was retired from the Dept. of Natural Resources after many years of service. He was also a mason and a member of the Dew Drop Lodge in Antreville, SC. He was also a member of Asaville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years June Haralson Fleming of the home; 2 sons Joseph Steven Fleming and his wife Tracy of Abbeville, SC and Danny Fleming of the home; 2 daughters Jane Fleming Huckabee and her husband Billy of Abbeville, SC and Jean Fleming of the home; 1 sister Dot Bryant of Sydney, Australia; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday Feb. 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Asaville Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the home 678 Wall St. Antreville, SC.
