Johnathon Luke Stroud

Johnathan "Luke" Stroud gained his heavenly wings on his birthday Friday Feb. 24, 2017. From his passing and his compassion for others he continues living on through the gift of his organs giving life to five others.

He was born in Greenwood, SC to Dianne Baker and the late John C. Stroud, IV.
Survivors are: His mother Dianne Baker of the home; step-father Chris Edwards of Abbeville, SC; grandmother Juanita Wilson Finley; sister Lindsey Stroud; brother-in-law Jeremy Bowie; sister Lauren Stroud; nephews and nieces Braiden, Briar, Bailey, Bristol, William Elijah (Eli); aunt and uncle Marie & Sammy McMurtury; uncle Jason Stroud; aunt & uncle Debbie & Allen Bowie; cousins Samatha, JT, Justin, Lauren. Also a host of loving friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father John C. Stroud IV, grandmother Margaret Brown Stewart, grandfather John C. Stroud III, grandfather Jim Baker, grandfather Jimmy Finley, great uncle Ronnie Brown, great uncle Frank Wilson, great aunt Jean Wilson.

A Celebration of Luke's life will be conducted Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to services. The family is at the home 27 Wilson Way Abbeville, SC.

The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the Stroud family.
