John Fortson Myers, Jr

John Fortson Myers, Jr., 87, resident of 13 Angel Lane husband of Annie Hodges Myers passed away Friday April 24, 2015 at his home.

Born in Lincolnton, Georgia he was a son of the late John Fortson Myers, Sr. and Lila Gable Myers.

He was a retired maintenance supervisor with John De La Howe School. He was a member of Bordeaux Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife Annie Hodges Myers of the home; three sons Johnny Myers (Denise), Timothy Myers (Natasha) and Tim Buster Myers, who was raised in the home, all of Calhoun Falls, SC; one daughter Elaine Nobles (Billy) of Calhoun Falls; two sisters Margaret Ivey of Augusta, Georgia and Polly Holt of West Palm Beach, FL; three grandchildren Dawn Smalley, Candice Evans and Kyanna Myers; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday April 26, 2015 at 2:30 PM in Bordeaux Church with the Rev. Alvin Hodges officiating. The burial will be private in Bordeaux Cemetery. The family is at the home 13 Angel Lane.
