John "JW" Wesley Hall

John Wesley "J.W." Hall, 86, of 102 Look Out Lane, husband of Sybil Scoggins Hall, died Tuesday, Feb, 18, 2003 at the VA Hospital Downtown in Augusta, Ga.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Carrie Bell Hall. He was a retired weaver with Abbeville Mills, an Army World War II veteran and a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a stepson, Buddy Cheek of Hilton Head Island; two sisters, Frances Latham of Greenwood and Thelma Langley of North Carolina; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are at 4 Thursday at Westside Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. James Long. Burial is in Long Cane Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 tonight at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
The family is at the home.
