John Robert Beatty

John Robert Beatty Sr., 68, of 8 Brannon Circle, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at his home.

Born in Baltimore, Md., he was a retired interstate driver with the Teamsters and a member of the Due West Baptist Church Church.

Surviving are widow, Elizabeth Adams Beatty of the home; son, John Robert Beatty Jr. of Hawaii; sisters, Elise Blaher of Maryland, Patricia Holsten of Georgia, and Rosalyn Trice of Belton; brother, Chester Beatty of Maryland; and four grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Herman and Marie Lego Beatty.

Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Due West Baptist Church by the Rev. James Robert Alewine.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Due West Baptist Church, Due West, S.C. 29639.
