John "JT" Turner Ashley

J.T. Ashley, 83, resident of 485 J.T. Ashley Rd. widower of Blanche C. Ashley died Saturday Oct. 13, 2007 at his home.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of the late Joshua Whitner Calhoun Ashley and Lessie Fields Ashley.

He was a retired electrician with Bloomsburg Mills and a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Belton, SC.

He is survived by 1 daughter Audrey Guy and her husband Dr. John Guy of Honea Path, SC;1 sister, Jenny Fisher of Honea Path, SC; 2 grandsons Rocky Guy of the home and Christopher Guy of Asheville, N.C.

Mr. Ashley was preceded in death by brothers, Hump and Roy Ashley and sisters, Rosa McClain, Gladys Walker and Mallie Ashley.

The family is at the home 485 J.T. Ashley Rd. Abbeville, SC
