James Howard Hall

James "Howard" Hall, 88, passed away Thursday April 24, 2014 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born June 12, 1925 he was a son of the late Robert Edward Hall, Sr. and Ernesteen Nelson Hall.

He served his country for 2 years in Japan. Howard was a Retired Carpenter and Millwright worker with Rocky River Mills for over 30 years. He was most happy working in his garden and spending time with his family. He was of the Jehovah Witness Faith.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years Margaret Ruth Franks Hall of the home; 4 daughters Rebecca Harvey of the home, Emily Reynolds (Billy) of Anderson, SC, Dale Hill (Keith) of Keysville, Georgia and Ms. Jill Hall of Greenville, SC; one son Timothy Lee Hall of Greenville, SC; one brother Donald Nelson Hall of Starr, SC; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and his beloved dog Jacob;.

He was preceded in death by 5 brothers Murray, Edward, David, Wendell and Gaines Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday April 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with Mr. James Reynolds officiating. The burial will follow in Old Daniel Cemetery for immediate family only.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 26, 2014 during the day at their home 267 Nation Rd. Abbeville, SC.
