Ida Harberson Horne

Ida Harberson Horne, 95, resident of National Health Care, Greenwood, formerly of 205 Walnut St., Abbeville, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Dorchester County, she was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Abbeville.

Surviving are son, Samuel S. Horne of Abbeville; daughter, Laler H. Palmer of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Samuel H. Horne and the daughter of the late Quillie T. and Hassie Greene Harberson.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Horne officiating. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon after services in the reception room at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Family members will be at their respective homes.
