Henry Allen Turnage

Henry Allen Turnage, 73, husband of Marlene Mobley, resident of Cedar Springs Rd., entered into rest Monday, April 21, 2025 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 26, 1951 in McCormick to the late Paul and Cora Ramsey Turnage, he attended McCormick County Schools and was a retired self-employed painter. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving other than his wife of 39 years, of the home, are his children, Henry Allen Turnage, Jr. of Macon GA, Dawn Turnage and Misty Turnage, both of Abbeville, Taylor Turnage (Joshua Berryman) of Greenwood, step-son, James Irwin of Abbeville; his brothers, Dwight and Johnny Turnage; his sisters, Mary, Dorothy, Betty, Linnie, and Jan; his grandchildren, Daniel, Lily, Ayleah, Trey, Tayley, Megan, Trinidy, Charlee, Maejur, and Twyla; one great grandchild, Brylen; multiple nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 grandchildren, Levi Hurt and Emily Irwin, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
