Helen Ellis Bosler

Helen Bosler, 90, widow of the late Mike Bosler, resident of Cambridge Ave., entered into rest Friday June 7, 2024 at NHC Healthcare surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 3, 1933 in Calhoun Falls to the late Carl and Ollie Sue Waters Ellis, she was a homemaker as well as the production manager of the family owned Bosler Poultry Farm. 

The oldest member of Warrenton Presbyterian Church, she served as Elder, and was the Music Director for 13 years. She was a member of Calhoun Falls Chapter # 182 of OES where she was a Past Worthy Matron.

Surviving are her children, Dale Baughman (Frank) of Anderson, Fredda Hamby (Andy) of Greenwood, and Darren Bosler (Jill) of Abbeville; her sister, Martha Sue Ellis Thompson; her grandchildren, Michael Baughman, Shane Hamby, Shannon Hamby Davenport, Andrew Bosler, Jacob Bosler, and Zac Bosler; 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Michelle Baughman.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM from the Chandler Chapel of the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with Rev. John Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of NHC Healthcare Greenwood, especially Claudia, who was extra special to Mrs. Bosler.
