Gwendolyn Keaton

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Lou Keaton, 75, passed away Friday April 18, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Georgia.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Archie Holmes Keaton and Mabel Shirley Keaton.

Gwen was a retired Ward Clerk with AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Gwen especially enjoyed reading, traveling and cheering for her beloved Clemson Tigers.

Survivors include a brother Stan Keaton (Susan) of Abbeville, SC; two nieces Lisa (Mark) Wilson of Madison, Georgia and Karen (Curt) Maxon of Hendersonville, NC; 4 great-nieces Anna and Ellen Wilson, Caroline and Marianne Maxon.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday April 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bynum officiating. The family is at the home of her brother Mr. & Mrs. Stan Keaton 4459 Hwy 28 North.

The family will receive friends immediately after services Monday at the cemetery.
