Gordon Ray Simpson, 74 resident of 907 Dodson Rd. in Donalds, SC passed away Friday March 02, 2018 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson, SC.

Born in Camp Rucker, Alabama November 2, 1943 he was a son of the late Gordon White Simpson and Rebecca Bonds Simpson.

Ray was the widower of Martha Eileen Jennings Schweighofer.

A private memorial service is scheduled for a later date.

The family would like to thank Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing home and Patriots Hospice for their care and compassion of Ray.
