Gloria Patricia "Pat" Newman Coker

Gloria Patricia "Pat" Newman Coker departed this life on Monday, January 1, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Pat was the epitome of a true southern wife, mother and homemaker.

Married to Don Earle Coker since 1958, she raised three children; Donna Coker Dubovsky (Jim), Lisa Coker Hurtebize (Pascal) and David Earl Coker (Lisa). Pat helped with school projects, was an excellent seamstress, cook, crafter, and gardener and kept a beautiful home. Pat was predeceased by her daughter Donna, sister Joyce and parents Paul and Ruby Lee Newman of Florence, South Carolina. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her sister Bobbie Dubose (Pat), four grandchildren; Nicole Kimbrel (Jason), Jonathan Dubovsky (Jessica), Daniel Dubovsky, Kristen Calarco (Paul) and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Hospice Care of South Carolina for the loving care provided to their wife and mother.

A Private Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.
