Fred Alan Pressley

Fred "Alan" Pressley, 57, resident of 227 S. Main St. husband of Lenora "Kay" Brown Pressley passed away Monday May 5, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Greenwood, SC he was a son of the late Roy Andrew Pressley.

Alan was a retired self employed Utility Contractor. He attended New Hope Baptist Church and Lighthouse Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his warm and caring demeanor.

Survivors include his beloved wife Kay Brown Pressley of the home; his mother Mae Pressley of Iva, SC; one son Troy Pressley (Sheila) of Due West, SC; one daughter Melissa K. Alewine (Gary) of Due West, SC; two brothers Ricky and Roger Pressley of Anderson, SC; one sister Marie Brown of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren Wyatt and Zack Pressley and Elan and Liam Alewine.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Burton and Jimmy Alewine officiating. The burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home 227 S. Main St. Due West, SC.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:30 until 2:00 PM prior to services at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
