Fred Clifford Bray

Fred Clifford Bray, 56, resident of 400 Perry St. husband of Margaret King Bray passed away Tuesday Nov. 11, 2014 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Fulton Co. Georgia he was a son of the late William Bray and Corrine Brady Bray.

Fred was a retired Seafood Manager of Winn Dixie Grocery Store. He was a member of Wings of Deliverance Church. Fred had a deep religious conviction as he loved his Lord with all his heart. He was a very devoted family man who loved and cared for his beloved wife Margaret. The apples of his eye were his children and grandchildren whom he spoke of often. Fred was also a very avid Georgia Bulldog fan. "Remember me with joy and laughter because that is the way I will remember you all."

Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years Margaret King Bray of the home; 2 sons Chris Hite (Mickie) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jason Hite (Megan) of Abbeville, SC; two daughters Alicia Mitchum (Tommy) of Abbeville, SC and Selyna Kidd of Abbeville, SC; one brother Charles Bray and one sister Becky Zajicek; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Nov. 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The family is at the home 400 Perry St. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to services.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Fred may be made to Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home 208 S. Main St. Abbeville, SC 29620 to help defray funeral expenses.
