Frances Earl Lewis Cain, 91, widow of Benjamin Leroy "Cotton" Cain passed away peacefully at her home located at 1105 North Main Street Monday January 28, 2019.
Born on June 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joe Earl Lewis and Rosa Campbell Lewis. Frances was a retired homemaker.
Survivors include: three daughters Wanda White (William) of Black Mountain NC, Deborah Pinto (John) of Huger, SC and Frances Cain-Lofton (Lionel) of McClellanville SC ; three sons Doyle Cain(Barbara) of Anderson SC, Chris Cain (Margie) of Moline IL, and Wilson Cain of Abbeville SC ; one sister Josephine Wilson of Greenwood, SC; fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grand children and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Benjamin Leroy Cain, her son, Jeff Earl Cain, two brothers, Campbell and Horace Lewis, and a sister Tobitha Ellis.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Stacey Griffis officiating . Interment will be private in Melrose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Grace Baptist Church, 4417 53rd St. Moline, Illinois, 61265
