Elizabeth Mundy Loftis

Mary 'Elizabeth' Mundy Loftis, 90, formerly of 125 McGowan Ave. widow of James "Herman" Loftis passed away Saturday Sept. 3, 2016 at National Healthcare in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville, SC Aug. 9, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Hugh Mosley Mundy and Addie Mae Uldrick Mundy.

Lib was a homemaker and a member of Abbeville Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered for her kind and caring nature.

Survivors include two sons Johnny Loftis (Brenda) of Abbeville, SC and Jimmy Loftis (Martha) of Newport, TN; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Russell Hinson and three sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday Sept. 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Long Cane Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Gregory Henley officiating. The family is at the home of her son Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Loftis 57 Pine Drive Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 until 1:30 at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
