Eleanor Ann Steifle Lomax, 73, resident of 2513 Ninety Six Highway, died Dec. 22, 2012 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, August 27, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Oza Steifle and the late Frances Chiles Steifle.
She was a member of Cedar Springs Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a brother, Ernest Steifle and wife Lori of Pelzer; nieces and nephew, Angie Hunt and husband Tony of Verdery, Chaney Wilson and husband David of Abbeville, Eric Steifle and wife Jami of Calhoun Falls and Lisa Calliham and husband Lee of Ninety Six.
Also surviving Eleanor are nine great nieces and nephews as well as five great-great nieces and nephews, Andy and wife Erin Hunt and their children, Nathaniel and Tanner; Marc and his wife Maggie Hunt and their children Johnathan, Leigh and Holly; Adam and his wife Cally Hunt; Jonathan Wilson, Walt Wilson, Reghan Steifle, Christian Marler, Cason Calliham, Kaylee Calliham and special friends, Barbara Donahoe and Dakota Miller.
Entombment services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Dr. Loyd Melton officiating.
