Dora Cudd

Dora Roberta Robinson Cudd, 87, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home widow of Albert Cudd passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the nursing home.

Born in Abbeville, SC Aug. 14, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Jacob Robinson and Ada Phillips Robinson.

Dora worked for a number of years in Textiles with the Greenwood Durst Plant. She later worked as the bookkeeper With Cudd’s Well Drilling. She also worked for Godfrey’s Market in Hodges before retiring as a homemaker.

She was a member of the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include: her daughter Carolyn Youmans of Round O, SC; a grandson Lee Anthony Cudd raised in the home: two step-daughter Priscilla Dodgen of Greenwood, SC and Maxine Kipp of Pontiac, MI; fourteen grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three daughters Diane Traynham, Tammy Moon and Lisa Cudd and two step-daughters Peggy and Jewel.

She was the last member of her immediate family.

A Celebration of Dora’s life will be conducted Thursday March 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Howard officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Thursday morning at the funeral home prior to services.
