Daniel Clyde "Dan" Hagan, 60, resident of 818 Lindsey Cemetery Rd. widower of Phyllis Kennedy Hagan passed away Saturday March 16, 2013 at his home.
Born in Abbeville Co. SC, he was a son of the late Edward Livingston Hagan and Miriam Seawright Hagan.
Dan was a former owner and operator of Hagan-Kennedy Service Station in Due West, SC for many years. Upon the sale of the service station he worked for a number of years at Lewis Tire Market and Stoll Fireplace, Inc. of Abbeville. He was a faithful member of Greenville Presbyterian Church. Dan will be remembered for his caring and friendly personality and will be missed by his loving family and his many friends.
Survivors include 4 sons Brad Nickles (Angie), Travis Nickles (Kim), Mark Hagan (P.J.) and Matthew Hagan (Annette); 1 brother Edward L. Hagan, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Due West, SC; 6 grandchildren Ashley, Bradley, Andrew, Trevor and Trey Nickles and Tess Hagan.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Bowling officiating. The committal service will follow in Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family is at the home 818 Lindsey Cemetery Rd. Due West, SC.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:30 PM in the funeral home prior to services.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hagan, Ronnie Nance, Mike Ashley and Ed Hagan.
