Charles Bruce Boyd

Charles B. Boyd, 73, resident of 76 Flat Rock Rd. husband of Ann McCullough Boyd passed away and went to be with his Lord Wednesday Oct. 16, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

He was a son of the late Robert Enoch Washington (R.E.) Boyd and Florence Cooper Boyd.

Charles was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the former owner of L & L Manufacturing and retired from Calvin Klein Industries as the head sewing machine mechanic. He attended New Hope Church.

Survivors are his beloved wife of 37 years, Ann McCullough Boyd of the home; two daughters, Kathy Bishop (Ron) of Anderson, SC and Charmin Wilkie (Jeff) of Gaffney, SC; two sons, C. Bruce Boyd and Brian Boyd both of Gaffney, SC; one brother, Roddy Boyd (Patsy) of Abbeville, SC; one sister, Nancy Hollingsworth (Henry) of Greenwood, SC; 6 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Oct. 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:30 PM. The family is at the home 76 Flat Rock Rd.
